Dive into Victory: A Splash of Success!

Last month, August 2, 2025, three hardworking Bosconian swimmers competed in β€œSwim For A Cause” at Assumption Antipolo. The Bosconian swimmers who competed are Maveline Park from Grade 4, Venerable Teresa Valse Pantellini; Sky Abao Gabriel from Grade 4, Blessed Augustus Czartoryski; and Francesca Mariae G. Luzares from Grade 6, Blessed Maria Troncatti. They also competed in β€œRookie Ripples” last September 6, 2025, at Marikina Sports Center. Another Bosconian swimmer also competed in his Novice Meet β€” Kian Garen Americal from Grade 7, Blessed Carmen Moreno. They continued to make waves as they bagged various medals from competitions outside of our school. These Bosconian swimmers trained with discipline and perseverance β€” paving the way for their success.

Maveline Park competed in both competitions and successfully swam her way to victory. She bagged 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals at the first competition, and also victoriously attained 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals in the second swim competition.

Sky Abao Gabriel also competed in both competitions and made a splash for our school. He secured 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals at the first competition β€” and also triumphed in the second competition, which earned him 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.

Francesca Luzares competed in both competitions and she completed the swim triumphant. She racked up 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal at the first competition β€” while she also succeeded at the second competition, winning 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal. She was also named the β€œMost Outstanding Swimmer Award for 9–10 Years Old” at both competitions.

Keon Garen Americal competed in the 11 years old category at his Novice Meet. Keon bagged 2 gold and 2 silver medals. He was also recognized as the β€œMost Outstanding Swimmer.”

Keon Americal:

50 Meters Freestyle β€” Gold

50 Meters Breaststroke β€” Silver

Their dedication in and out of the pool is definitely an inspiration to the Bosconians. They’ve carried our banner with pride and success. We are looking forward to more recognition and medals that they can obtain for our school.

These Bosconian swimmers demonstrated the true spirit of Don Bosco β€” doing everything extraordinarily well. Their achievements inspire Bosconians to also excel in their own fields. Once again, congratulations to our Bosconian swimmers. Keep swimming forward β€” your DBS Family is proud of you!Β
